Wholesale Frequently Asked Questions

WHAT ARE YOUR WHOLESALE MOQs?

Minimum spend per ‘New Season’ order is $2000, excluding freight.

Minimum spend per ‘Re-Order’ during a season is $500, excluding freight.

You must place a 'New Season' order at the beginning of a season to have further access to the new collection stock throughout the season. If you do not place a 'New Season' order at the beginning of a season, you will still have access to some past season stock but not the newest collection.

Prices and minimums on orders are subject to change.

Wholesale pricing applies to stores with a retail storefront (including web stores).

WHAT ARE YOUR PAYMENT TERMS?

Olga de Polga P/L requires a 50% deposit payment at the beginning of each season to place your order - this deposit is non-refundable. Payment for the remainder of each order is required prior to shipping.

Stockists will be contacted via email at this time to make the remaining payment.

Payment is accepted via credit card or bank transfer (emailed remittance required to dispatch goods prior to monies being in our bank account).

We do not accept company cheques.

Orders unpaid for, or, with declined credit cards, will be held for 15 days, and you will be contacted for alternate payment. If payment is not made (or an arrangement established), or card does not approve within 15 days; and another form of payment is not supplied, the  order will cancel and your 50% deposit will not be refunded.

Credit card information is not kept on file, and must be provided with each order.

WILL MY STORE BE THE ONLY OLGA DE POLGA STOCKIST IN MY AREA?

Olga de Polga P/L aims to limit the number of stockists in any one geographical area. The actual number of stockists in a postcode, city, town, suburb or  area is dependent on several factors such as the size of the area, it’s population and city layout etc.

Our primary aim is to respect and protect our stockist’s right to offer something unique to their customers. We strive to coordinate a non-competitive  environment among our stockists by selling to stockists that are a reasonable distance from each other, or by offering a different product mix.

if a particular store does not reorder that SKU within a 6 month period, it becomes available. However, stores that spend $2000+ per season are able to  gain full suburb exclusivity on our entire range.

This is something that we monitor closely to ensure compliance. We endeavour to be as transparent as possible with all of our stockists by publishing  our full list of retailers on our website and contacting existing retailers if we are approached by another retailer in a nearby area.

HOW WILL YOU PROMOTE MY STORE AS A STOCKIST OF OLGA DE POLGA?

Our stockists’ shop name, address, phone number, and website link will be added to the stockists list on the Olga de Polga website each season. We do regular social media shout outs to support retailers who support our brand.

CAN I CANCEL AN ORDER THAT I HAVE PAID A DEPOSIT ON?

Once an order is placed at the beginning of a season, the order is final and changes cannot be made. We produce directly from your order. After your order has been submitted, your order will be produced and any cancellations will mean that the 50% deposit paid by you – to Olga de Polga  P/L - will be retained to cover the cost of the stock in production and subsequent related costs of produced stock.

HOW MUCH IS SHIPPING?

Cost of goods outlined in catalogue or on the website does not include shipping or handling charges. Orders are shipped via Australia Post, unless a request is made to  use a different carrier.

Olga de Polga P/L does not ship C.O.D. and does not Dropship.

Customers will be notified via email when order is ready to ship.

All orders will be shipped to address specified by the customer at time of ordering.

CLAIMS & RETURNS

All Olga de Polga P/L woven garments are made by hand, on a sewing machine. As such, there may be slight variations. Our printed fabrics are largely screen printed, and there may be slight variations in the patterns, colour and placement of the ink. These are not  considered faults, but significant characteristics of the printing process and inevitably contribute the uniqueness and authenticity of the garments.

Our knitted garments are made from various animal hairs. The yarn is dyed and pre-treated, prior to knitting. Some animal fibres will shed or pill,  according to the inherent nature of the fibres. These are not considered faults, but significant characteristics of the fibres into which the garments are  made.

Please examine your order upon arrival and check over your order and garments carefully.

We do our best to ensure that each and every garment is sent to you in perfect condition.

If you come upon something you deem unsatisfactory, please send us an email within three business days of receiving your order. Please do not post  the garment to us prior to emailing us.

All damages or shortages must be reported immediately, with photographic evidence.

If a damaged garment is reported in the specified time frame, is a fault of Olga de Polga P/L and is in stock, replacements will be provided for damaged  items.

If the item is out of stock, a credit on future orders will be issued.

Any shipping-related damage or loss must be claimed by the consignee with carrier.
