CARE | Montreal Angora
Angora is a delicate fibre and should be treated gently to maintain its softness and shape.
Some shedding is natural, particularly when the garment is new. With regular wear, the fibres will settle and shedding will reduce over time.
How to Minimise Shedding
Wear it regularly
Friction from wear helps fibres relax and settle naturally.
Pair with low-static fabrics
Angora fibres are less likely to cling to denim, polyester, and similar fabrics.
Avoid dry air
Dry environments can increase static, which encourages shedding. Using a humidifier or lightly steaming the garment before wear can help reduce static buildup.
Wash only when necessary
Angora does not need frequent washing. Over-washing can weaken the fibres and shorten the life of the garment. Wash only if visibly dirty or if odour is present.
