Care: Luminary Soft Slub Linen Blend

1. Machine Washing:

  • Turn the garment inside out to protect its outer surface.
  • Use a gentle cycle with cold water (30°C or below) to minimise colour fading and fabric wear.
  • Opt for a mild, eco-friendly detergent to preserve the fabric's quality.
  • Avoid overloading the washing machine to prevent excessive friction.


2. Hand Washing (Preferred):

  • Fill a basin or sink with cold water.
  • Add a small amount of mild detergent and mix it thoroughly.
  • Gently agitate the garment in the soapy water for a few minutes.
  • Rinse thoroughly with cold water until all detergent is removed.
  • Press the water out of the garment, being careful not to wring or twist it.


3. Drying:

  • Lay the garment flat on a clean towel or drying rack to air dry. Avoid hanging it to prevent stretching.
  • Shape the garment back to its original form while it's still damp.
  • Keep it out of direct sunlight to prevent colour fading.
  • Never use a tumble dryer, as it can damage the fabric's integrity.


4. Ironing:

  • Use a low to medium heat setting on your iron (around 110-150°C) to press the garment.
  • To protect the fabric, iron it inside out with a pressing cloth or a thin cotton fabric.
  • Avoid using excessive heat, as it may cause the fabric to become shiny or lose its texture.

 

5. Storage:

  • Store your garment in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
  • To prevent wrinkles, hang it on a hanger or fold it neatly.
  • Avoid overcrowding in your closet to allow proper ventilation.


6. Stains:

  • Attend to stains promptly by blotting, not rubbing, with a clean, damp cloth.
  • Consult a professional cleaner for stubborn or set-in stains.
